As the saying goes - "Marriages are made in Heaven" - Our Marriage was one such occasion where we were made to experience the words of the above quote & felt the "Best of the Vibes" in the unexpected setting possible with "Thiruvasagam & Thevaram" sung during the marriage ceremony on March 24th - from now on it will be treasured, remembered year on year by us. Words can't replicate the emotions, that we experienced during the last few weeks, as I know - it was done with great zeal, utmost care, and meticulous planning (months of hard work) from "The Creator's of My Soul - My Parent's" themselves & ably supported by my "Brother", along with Blessing from Family & Friend's for our well being - led to Happiness of a Life Time and we became Husband & Wife !!

Tenacious BUS Driver

Now a days all are celebrating more of western culture than our own(Esp in the countries I work/ed they celebrate X'mas more than their traditional festivals), but if there is any great things that exists else where we shall observe, ponder and if it doesn't affect us much in our day to day life and if we are not neglecting our own tradition, then we can start practicising it for the happiness & well being - why not !! Thanks Giving - Its a new concept for me, but I liked the reason behind it " It is about showing one's gratitude for the blessings that we are showered with" and so here in this post, I would like to "Thank" - All of them who shown gratitude to me !!

a) Parent's - They are the BEST, I have told many a times "We are Blessed" to be their Children, I have had always Loved Them, but this year was more the more special as the way they understand/stood me is "Spot On" and also how much support they give me is beyond any of their peers. I'm proud to say -"No One Can Be Like Them in Understanding & Supporting Me" and I doubt will there be any, but I wish I have one/two more persons in the future who want to reach that spot - Thanks Dad & Mom for being so nice to me - There is no pay back for all the LOVE you guys shower on me & bro, but will try my hardest !!

b) Brother - For being my God Father as always, asking the tough question and making me feel, just don't play with your own life and says often - "Wake Up" kiddo, u have lot of aspiration but start working @ it, I need that to rejig myself once in while and here he was doing that everytime when I was in need and he delivered with out me asking for it - Thanks Bro !! U'r comments in the blog, atleast I know u read the blog - that keeps motivated to write again :)

c) Family Relatives - The nicest people other than immediate family have tough fight and this keeps getting interchanged b/w relatives & friends. This year I would like to Thank Relatives as lot of good memories starts with them during childhood, esp first circle of relatives - "Uncle & Aunts" , "Cousins & Nephews/Nieces", and gets to backstage after we start moving a lot with Friends and colleagues. This year I got pleasant surprises and back in good touch with all of them, which was missing for sometime. Thanks All for making me feel that way !!

d) F-R-i-E-N-D-S - I have seen some phases of it, some never stops growing, some dwindles when we thought it will never happen, some started off with a bang and didn't even move beyond a week, some we know we had a great relationship even when we don't speak that often, some changed after they get a family, but yesterday "Tour De School" brought back lot of good memories of our school friends - we still are a close knit gang - Thanks Guys & Gals for being my friend and bring happiness, joy and helping me to overcome some really sad days/things that otherwise would have been difficult to contain !!

e) Colleagues & Job - Last 2 years, I have been seeing more of the South Horizon and in the middle of the year, even I have seen the tip of the south, luckily "Thanks Giving" is in the year end and things are looking better, still covering the south and climbing up toward north and I'm in the median and would definitely like to see the North Horizon soon. I have to unofficially Thank my boss who have shown/showing both the horizons of life and definitely he is nice to me !! There was one person who is Sr and we worked very closely last year and she was part of the successful project win in one of the leading Insurance firm - Thanks a Lot for being there !!

f) Clients - Thinks again was tough for the last two years and picking up and there were couple of clients who have helped me to climb from the tip of south towards better horizons and this is the best time to Thank them for believing in me and I need to Special Thank to One person the most for making me work @ a crucial juncture of almost giving up and inch towards my first deal - Thanks will not suffice for resurrecting my career !!

g) Tutors - Lot of tutors we would have come across in our school & college and very rarely we remember them for long. Few of them I would like to thank are my X grade "Maths" tutor for being so helpful and hardworking. My first year S/W Engg Tutor & OOAD Tutor for their teaching and finally becoming friends !! Glad that I met them and got tutored by them, in corporate life I would say my biggest tutor was "Experience" and I got loads n loads of them as I experimented enough and circumstances allowed me to experience more than what I could handle sometimes. Thanks all for teaching the best you could & shaping me for a bright future !!

h) Others - Who have discouraged me, who have encouraged me indirectly or directly, they have in a way induced me further in climbing the ladder for sure, Thank You All for being part of this year journey and I know you guys will come up next year too - to scale me up in LIFE !!

I) Myself - I Thank My Gut Feel/Instincts/Blind Confidence(tho less compared to my peak) for "Not Giving Up" in so many instances, when Doubt & Only Doubt was my company and I was walking a path - few have taken and with no experience to handle - I Struck Around and I'm seeing the light @ the end of the Tunnel !! Pls share your thoughts in your blog/FB/Twitter/Mail Them - who ever touched you this year.

Wish You All a "Very Happy Kaarthigai Deepam" !!

It was colorful this year as you can see above, unexpected but enjoyed nevertheless with Sreeni & Family along with another Polarite - Balaji. For myself and Balaji this is the second visit to Sreeni's place in Hunghom in HK and its a win-win for all of us. Sreeni's family like us to be invited as his daughter - Harini(below) enjoys spending time with us (Balaji & myself) and for us a good south Indian meal s0 quite understandable why I said Win win for all :) Had a good fun there watching cricket match, walking to wet market and had a good lunch (Sambhar, Rasam, Valaikai Poriyal, Vadam, Payasam, Nanari Sarbath, Adai in the evening) and good Kaarthigai Deepam ambiance and lot of new faces from their friend's circle to chat !! Nice day spent again @ Sreeni's place. After a long long time celebrated Kaarthigai Deepam and felt the color with the Deepam and light spreading across the place and myself too !!

Vinod aka China says, Deepavali's in the past, where we all assemble and scottapa already have had purchased the crackers for us and then we try to kayavechufy, then get money from all esp aaaya to buy the crackers from Bangar kadai !! Rain will come n play spoil sport and we waking up in the early morning and perima being the first to get up and help us all apply oil along with mom n chiti and all patasu assembled in the front Thinai & make sure the velakku is placed away from the air n crackers for safety and then counting chettiar veetu paatasu paper Vs Ours - those lovely days !! Then going to temple, having a poori chenna breakfast and also the SUN TV programmes used to keep us busy for the rest of the day - lingering moments for all of us and we used to have a great time !!

Not only diwali days, vaadagai cycle, hindi tuition, kites v used to fly, puli mittai, horlicks and maltova (even though they r available now also), nostalgic...,

Vinod aka China says, Sis, tats definitely was those gr8 days which lingers in mind every passing Diwali these days...since u brought the kites, hindi tuition n all, I wish to add one morething that we used to do every summer - swimming in kaveri aaru and adi perukku n mariaamman kovil - bajji, sugar cane juice and also the pariyur pandigai - peengal plate, rubber banthu, suttu velaidrathu, perunkaya dappa, koiya maram, elantha maram,maatuu pongal OMG list was endless - but did all these things year on year !!

Even after doing so much for years we forget something - tats wat this age n time brings to us n not the enjoyment we had and its getting worse for younger wards @ our home too !!

Very nostalgic.....

"Invisible China in China" happened at-last and I loved each & every moment cos of my Chitappa(uncle) who took good care of me in China even at this age, like he did when I got sprained my leg in the Marina Beach 15 years ago - that's true affection & I felt it in every movement as well as moment, Chithi gave the same warmth thru phone calls this time around unlike then CITY Life "Uyirulla Kathirukkai, Cards Playing, Daily Shopping" experiences @ Chennai!! Chitappa - Thank You for showering me all those care which was overwhelming at times and at the same time made me realize after a long time - I'm getting to feel the need of relationship and relatives after few years of seclusive life style in Singapore & Hong Kong !! We cousins have got the best affection, learnings & treatments from All Our "Appa's (Periappa, Appa, Paneer & Parthipan Chitappa) & Amma's(Periamma, Amma, Uma & Baghyam Chithi)", Touch-wood let that continue for ever for us and also hope we do that to our generation as well !!

Moving to the heart of the trip - "Guangzhou" - A place my Chitaapa & Chithi along with their daughters Deepu & Mahisha inherited and consider as their second home & it indeed made me also feel the same way. Guangzhou - I loved the City for the weather, wide roads, good infra n food too !! I liked the place for the "Legacy Modernization" approach they have handled thru SEZ route and Chinese Govt have transformed this normal place in to a "Commerce Hub" where people from all over the world visit to do business - All in less than 20 Years !! I saw so much of sky scrapers and well paved roads and multi layered fly overs and was in awe. But China shows the world "If There is Will, There is A Way" and being a corrupt nation themselves they could do so much that we sud be learning from them and step on the pedal to rise the bar soon to lead Asia & World, like China is doing now in Asia !!

Chitappa offered me the best food of the trip @ home during the first & second supper - "Pepper Chicken" from his culinary skills that was seasoned during his studying days, supplemented with the better known local cuisine from Guandong province - which are normally less spiced, less salted, but ate a lot of variety which I never ever consumed in life till then - Dumpling with Veg stuffing, Pork, Cow stuffing, Brazilian Buffet with all parts of Beef, Japanese Sushi, raw Solmon Fish, Oats, boiled Bracoley & pumkin, lot of fruits - Dates(for the first time I ate the fresh dates and it was really good)

Visited "Pearl River(In the Photo), Fushan(reaching this place took lot of effort for even Chitappa to make the local understand n all my thoughts of trying to find my way in China myself in the next trip was slowly vanishing), Banyan Tree Temple(1400 Years Old), Beijing Lu (Shopping Street where we bought the Warmers/Jackets for winter from Jeans West where the quality and options are more and Beijing Lu is like Nanjing Lu in Shanghai I was told), Leather Market - offered wide variety of shoes for whole sale and fake shoes with all "Hi-End Designer Labels like Gucci, LV, Clarks" too !!

In the Central Guangzhou saw - Big malls (Next to which Govt destroyed a 3 store tower to build a park for people to relax), Samsung Ad-Covered building that welcomed the athletes to the Asian Games in Guangzhou, Tien He sports Center and also the TV Tower (in the photo) is so brightly colored with the best of the bulbs for the Opening ceremony of Asian Games. I would have felt sad if I had missed that view from the Harshvada along the "Pearl River" that plies between the Guangzhou @ a beautifully done pavements on both the side of the river which has good area to walk, sit, jog and reside - I loved the whole sight of It. The pavements on both sides invited me to jog again after a long long time !! I LOVED Guangzhou as a whole but this night view of this river captured my heart n mind !!

We also went to Shenzen and luckily we kept the luggage in the station itself before moving on to the best attraction - "Windows of the World". This place provides the miniature of all the best places in the world, esp most of the 7 World Wonders !! Had a tough time capturing them with out ppl or buildings in the background as its crowded and covered by buildings even thought its in outskirts of Shenzen. One bad thing was no where in the MTR station they mentioned about the attraction, if we need to take a tour it will take 4-5 hrs minimum and even after walking the whole length & breadth of the place, I missed some of them as its big and worth a visit once. We had our dinner in one of the Pakistani/Indian restaurant & Chitappa came almost till the gates of immigration and we bid adieu to one of my first trips to China !! Chitappa thanks for showing me the best of Guangzhou & Shenzen and it was indeed a memorable trip for me - worth the wait of 4 years since the time you invited me to China !!

Corporate job's are risk averse and but less fun as we don't get to do "What We Feel Like", unlike doing a Business!! From "Rags to Riches" stories comes from Entrepreneurs and not regular 9-5 job seekers. I also come to understand all can't become "Entrepreneurs" but have to go thru the below life cycle, either thru our - day today job as Head of XYZ or as Entrepreneur. "Theoreneurial Life Cycle" is must know for all who are doing/will do business or Lead/leading a company !!

"Business Planning, Economic Environment, Business Economics, Industry Analysis,Business Strategy, Product Development, Marketing, Sales,After Sales & Services Marketing, Product Management(Version/Upgrades), Operations & Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Costing, Working Capital Management, Pricing,Finance, Banking, Budgeting, Managing People, Law, Taxation, Communication, Negotiation and Networking "

Practicals Learnings from the above life cycle will be experienced early by real guys out there doing "Entrepreneurial Work" and those who learn these concepts thru' "Theoreneurial Learnings" llike MBA's/Managers who lead/will lead a company will make use of it to grow the organisations they work by acquiring the "Entrepreneur's - Start Up's".

MiSsiOn sAi WaN !!

We Eight,

Saw a Sight,

Which was Bright,

We Loved the Light,

& We Stopped @ Right

We conquered the Might,

Had a good "Sweet n Sour Chicken" fight

On a Saturday Night,

We had a Blast !!

We were back to our Flat,

With fun filled Heart !!

An unplanned trip with new gang and it ended as a blast to all of us - Praveen, Paresh, Mahesh, Soc (Socrates), Balaji, Brijender, Shekar & myself - all from diff states in India but here on a common mission - Mission Sai Wan in Sai Kung. It all started with a call from Brijender @ 10 pm on Sep 17. Not knowing where we are going - I said ok as I just wanted to go out that weekend instead of sleeping in room n wasting my time.

We(Brij & myself) started out by 10:30 from Central, HK Island towards shatin and then to Maon Shan to meet our Polaris friends. We met them at 12 o clock and we boarded our bus 299 to Sai Kun. We reached there in 20 mins, Soc and Praveen joined s. We headed toward the Sai wan village from sai Kung in a taxi and then headed towards Sai Wan Village, Hong Kong.

A cool photo shoot and a sweaty climb interspersed with hiking, lead to mini breaks for drinks and then we reached our beautiful, pristine beaches of Sai Wan and whole gang head to the beach for the swim and a game, where as I moved to what I do best - Photo shoot of the place. This panorama will show us the beauty of the place captured thru' my 3rd eye.

We took a consensus of everybody whether we can finish the complete trial, somebody said "Yes We Can", couple of them said "Ok Fine", few said "Should We ?" with a doubt on their face and worn out body, but everybody accepted to carry on !! After that we went on the uphill, climbing the tough terrain and taking few breaks here n there as Shek was dehydrated and all of us were doing a dead beat except Soc, who was full of energy and telling the gang we need to move fast if we need to finish the trial.

Not everyone was able to match as humidity was @ its peak and it was killing all of us and we were doing a "Dead Beat" and Shek was the first to succumb to the dehydration, n he couldn't move after a good one km uphill, until he gulped a Gatorade & then the Super Hero from Hyderabad started a quick jog to the next stop & to all of our surprise he was the first to reach the beach and was doing a dolphin dives in to the beach again - Due to heavy sweating n humidity as he told later !!

But the steep climb was worth every cent as the place the best view but the most important of all we wanted was there - Our Restaurante' "Cafe' De - Sai Kunga " Its my won name of that place where we had tasty "Sweet n Sour" chicken and also the Veg/Sea/Chicken Fried rice along with Honey Lemon. We felt lucky as Praveen remembered the place and so "Lunner" (Lunch+Dinner) was done.

We hired a speed boat courtesy Praveen's previous hike experience led us to book it before dinner and the boat was just waiting for us to pick n drop us in the "Wong Shek Pier" for 80 HKD. We played catch catch n the bus stop till the bus to Sai Kun arrived and then moved to Shatin to take the MTR to Wanchai !! We had one good evening, that provided all the color to life as below snaps depicts it all !!

28 & 5 !!

28 & 5 - Both are increasing proportionally so far and I don't know when this is going to change. As per the eternal CHANGE IS THE GAME theory, I hope and wish to see that "CHANGE" next year, hopefully through my long term goal !! 5 symbolizes my affinity towards my employer and 28 I hope everyone guessed it. Celebrated my birthday walking alone to unknown place for 2 hours - Its been a while since I felt the "Loneliness" and its hitting me and I'm trying not to get used to it by doing something like this lonely walking in Lonely Planet - Yes it appears so when you land in a new place and u know Nobody and understand nothing of what they speak, eat, do :) Lets c what happens next year same time - Wish I would have got all I want - Touch wood !!

Dhamma - Teachings of Buddha !!

Love/Hatred is part n parcel of our life, and we get engulfed & entangle ourselves with these, thro' out our life. We are happy when we get what we need and we become sad when things go in the opposite direction from what we desired for, which causes lot of distress to self n people close to us !! Siddhartha Gautama Buddha was experiencing the same in his life until he learnt many meditation techniques and finally settled in the technique he found - "Vipassana Meditation" which involves one step further from other meditation technique i.e to "Purify the Mind at the Root Level" by focusing the mind to "Observe the Subtlest Activity" & by remaining Equanimous he had cut down the misery caused due to Craving/Aversion and finally attained the "Enlightenment" at the age of 35 !!

History says he started to spread this technique thru' his 5 friends who together with Siddhartha practiced a diff meditation technique but left him until he mastered this technique and the word has spread to many people and even to one of the greatest Indian emperor - Ashoka The Great. Ashoka was calling himself "Cruel Ashoka" as he was conquering the world thru' his aggressive "Kill Any One & Capture" strategy, until he learnt the technique from Siddhartha and he helped spread this technique all over the world. Unfortunately the technique was lost in India after 5 centuries and as per the belief this technique would be maintaind in the pristine purity in "Suvarnabhoomi - Golden Land" and it will come back to India after 2500 yrs through a person.

It happened so, a second generation business family from India who were settled in Myanmar ( Golden Land) were forced to move out of Mynmar during a riot in 19th century. SN Goenka part of that business family was a student then and was a school topper in Myanmar when he came to India. He started business in South India. Once the riot settled in Myanmar he moved back to establish business and he became a well known industrialist and also headed the Hindu Society in Myanmar, preaching the vedas, upanishads in his late twenties !! He got a migraine problem and he approached the best doctors around the world, but with no cure to his problem. Then his friend - A senior defense person recommended him to take up this 10 day Vipassana course from a local teacher. With much of contemplation(cos he being a staunch Hindu and from an orthodox family, how can he learn something from Buddhism) he approached the teacher and the teacher clarified - You can be a Hindu but practice this technique with utmost sincerity. After 3 months he convinced himself to take up the course. He joined the course but was about to give up in the second day, but a persuasive lecturer asked him to continue for few more days of practice. He found the bliss the next day, which even "The Money nor The Hindu Religion", could buy and he was working on this technique under the same Guru for 14 years . His mother fell ill and he needed to return to India for teaching the technique to her mother, as this was almost the similar problem he faced. Coincidentally it was 2500 years since Buddha taught "Dhamma" in India. Following many requests SN Goenka started teaching "Vipassana" in India and it has spreads his wing across the world now.

I was fortunate to attend the course in Chennai in the month of May(19 - 31) 2010. Ten day course is very pragmatic(for they ask you to believe in this technique only when you experience the results yourself) and I highly recommended this for all, as it helps to understand our mind and how much clutter we carry and how to get rid of all those at the root level using this technique !! We will be also be able to get a feeling how "Wavelets" are the only things that is existing in this Universe but the scientific explanation they shower and the self experience will help us to believe in this technique more so than others. I got to feel it for the first time in my life on the fourth day !! It was the best ever experience in my life with a strong vibration spread across head to toe, as my whole body transformed to single packet of wavelets vibrating and I experienced the "Bliss". Next day I even got very strong vibration and was swinging back n forth and I felt it every time I meditated and felt really good, then my Guru made me realize that day that swinging sensation I experienced was a pleasant sensation and asked me not react to it and be equanimous towards both pleasant and gross sensations - which upset me but realized later in the course that he taught the right thing to me.

a) "Shila/Morality"

Vipassana meditation Technique started with taking 5 precepts, and they are as follows,

"No Lying, No Stealing, No Killing, No Sexual Misconduct, No Liquor".

b) "Shamadi - Mastery Over Mind"

Shamadi is practiced and achieved in the first 3 days, thru' step by step approach which started of with "Aaana Paana Breathing Technique" - It is observing the "Normal Breathing", and then slowly decreasing the area of concentration to a triangle portion (Nose until up to the upper lip of our mouth) and then further decreasing the area of the concentration(just the "Nostril") to tune the mind to note the "Subtle Sensation*" in the body. *Sensation - Can be heat, perspiration, sweating, vibrations, pain etc.

c) "Panya - Purification of Mind"

Guru's taught the Vipassana technique on the fourth day, "Observe the Sensation in the Body Objectively (Don't React) and Be Equanimous towards Sensation". We were asked to take an important oath on that day i.e. "Not to move from the place for One hour during Meditation" and it resulted in experiencing the Gross as well Pleasant Sensation across the body. When we react to either pleasant/gross sensation we create a "Sankara". For Ex : When the gross pain is heavy in one part of the body the mind will have a abstract thought running about any bad event/fight/quarrel and when you observe the sensation around the nostril area we might have a heat sensations in the nostril area and the gross sensation will keep increasing but the technique will teach us "The Law of Impermanence" which is the magic mantra that will help to treat both gross and pleasant sensation with Equanimity !! If we practice it well, we will see the gross pain getting dissolved and pleasant sensation and if we still maintain the equanimity then we can even observe Subtler sensation (after years of practice) and when we are equanimous towards all sensation even to the subtlest we will attain the Nirvana @ this point of time - "Love Compassion & Goodwill", will prevail over SELF !!

Life is so Cruel I thought for Andy Roddick, when he played a magnificent match but ended up on the losing side of another, Best Wimbledon final which better's last year's Wimbledon Final between Rafa n Roger, where Roger Federer cried and said "God It's Cruel", after losing to Rafa in 5 sets!! It was CRUEL, but if we see close & in depth "Its Not" . Why its not cruel - In the thick of action it might look so.............but if Rafa didn't win last year and dethorne Roger "The King" Fedrer from No.1 and Wimbledon Championship, Roger Federer wouldn't have enjoyed his success this year in clay and grass as he did this year, cos he would have cruised without an opponent to FIGHT 4 !! My mom always says "Nothing Stays Up for Too Long and Nothing Will Be Down For Too Long Either !!" Champions like Roger also needed a bitter reality treatment, but Only for him to SHOW HIS GREATNESS and why he is revelled as One of the Greatest in the Tennis History !! Rafa was the one to stop his CRUISE mid sea with his small and fine Yacht built up with Power, Determination, Look, Great versatility to Outwit a Cruis Ship in the form of Roger Federer with allmost all the qualities that is needed for a champion to be in the CRUISE MODE !!

Today in Wimbledon 2009 finals, Roger Federer beats Andy Roddick in an epic match (5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6, 16-14) to regain the Title back and also the World No 1 to show Life Isn't Cruel But 4 Champions and for the ones who Persevere with HARD WORK and Determination for too long even tho' the better player today was Andy. Andy As Roger Said "U Can Win Too" n become a "Champion You Want to Be". U might have lost One of the Best Matches but to become a Champion - You Have to Persevere and Keep showing the Consistency that Roger "The King" Federer is showing (21 Grand Slam Semi's). Ignorance should be treated in proper way. Lets take a hypothetical situation - A kid(X) is given a NEW video game to play, and X doesn't know how to play the game then he/she should be taught the right way to play the game - Learning may come thru' his friends or parent's or someone who takes real interest in him/her or by himself. But kid being curious and impulsive to play, just tries to play the game (without any experience), in those situation the kid may ask a question "How to play this game ? Which Keys for speed?" to another kid(Y) who has mastered the game. Y if he/she is not a good friend to X then the typical reply will be - "You Don't Know This" and Y will never teach the basics too. If X is a strong fella' and has the mental strength and he can master the game with the help of his parent's/friends/by himself then its better for him, but life being tough - probability is in both sides of the coin!! Say if X doesn't have favourable conditions and if this kind of situation repeats the kid is forced to go in to a NUT SHELL!! If this happens in the early stage of life, X might not be aware of (S)he is developing inferiority complex and similarly if Y's behaviour is not checked then it develop in to superiority complex.

Y's kind of response doesn't stop after (S)he turns in to an adult !! If you think deeply why this kind of situation arises - the answer is simple - "Supremacy Over Others" and this thought of supremacy has been sowed in our thinking by our parents/relatives/society!! Its inherent duty of every parent's to teach their sons/daughters to help remove ignorance of others, irrespective of age colour, creed, caste !! If somebody ask help from us, they do so ONLY IF THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT THEMSELVES, SO INSTEAD OF SAYING "YOU DON'T KNOW THIS SIMPLE THING" PLEASE SHOWER/ENLIGHTEN THEM WITH YOUR KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE !!

Yes best of my learnings came when I failed to meet my expectations/societies !! One of the best example was my XII board exams, After screwing up physics exams I was in no mood to concentrate on rest of my exams - and I sticked to that with great guns when I should have sticled to my exam plans !! I almost went unprepared for rest of the exams and got a 84% overall. I knew my capabilities well I thought and decided to give another attempt - with gr8 support from my MOM and rest opposed to the plans of spending another year of sporadic studying !!

Like me, couple of my batchmates did opt that option either on their own or as per their parents suggestion. I remember 4 fella's Siva - Alias Kutti, Jayanth alias J/Pottu, Saravanakumar, Lenin. Till then I seldom spoke to those guys except J. J and me are very close from the day I joined basket team in BVB, we became best pals by that time. Everybody felt we could have done better and had various dreams. I wanted to go in BITS, J was suggested by his parents to take this path to join Medicine, Kutti wanted to join Top Engg college, Saravanakumar and Lenin wanted to get only to Medicine so they opted out of joining Engg even tho' they had good grades to join the same year !!

Me and Kutti started to go to tuitions to keep abreast with the study. We went together for Physics and Cemistry and we were thinking of doing it on our own for Math as we both were good in Math. Phyiscs tuition went well and chemistry was a sucker -atleast Kutti felt that very much - Wat da Am I telling the right thing ?? We attented tuitions and wrote tests with junior batch students, some were preparing from XI std !! Our preparation were ok considering our plans and targets we had set to achieve. I would say I was not doing the right thing, all cos of my last minute preparation that I habitutated till then (It continues till now -which I need to work on) and it costed me dearly as I could not prepare all 6 subjects and my dream of getting in to BITS has been moved to my Wish List !!

One incident still lingers very much in my mind vividly, since we did our own coaching for Math I had very little practise and when the D-Day for Math exams came - I asked a critical question to Kutti "Can I skip the Maths Exam" cos I thought I didn't prepare well for taking a public exam - All these thought came to me only 30 min b4 taking exams & not while I was not preparing seriously for the whole year, and Kutti (we became good friends by then) advised me to go ahead and take the exams stating you can always use the previous years marks(180) if this going to be low - but I was very sceptical as I don't want to score lower than previous resluts, but he gave me confidence to take the exam, so I went on to take the Math exam and to my surprise and Luck - I was able to crack all the questions, we discussed all the answers and found to be correct - I thought I will get a CENTUM. For the first time during my improvement life I felt I have taken the right decision and started to do the rest of the exams really well !! All these happened cos of one good soul - Kutti alias Siva - Thanks da, if it was not for you I wouldn't have taken the Math Xam !! Then the entrance exams for Engg came and we did better than previous year !!

If you all think my good time has started by then, it was BIG NO !! After 50 odd days of waiting results came!! First results were TNPCEE entrance results, it was 75+ out of 100, it was bad score consiering it was a second attempt and then the public results came - Atleast here I was hoping to see a CENTUM in Maths, and my eyes were searching for Maths score and to my biggest shock of my life - I got a 170+ !! I just noted down my other subject marks along with total and came out of the browsing center - void of any positive thoughts and completely filled with disappointment,hatred towards myslef and a humiliatng feeling, with intriguing questions going on in my mind (about relatives, friends, what will they ask/tell me about my score after second attempt). But I called my mom to inform that I have scored a low mark she asked me to come home and pacified me even after I brought home the bad grades !! She gave me hope and reinforced positive thoughts and she even bought me a book on SONY success - it all gave me a momentary energy but failed to boost me up for the next level of my life. That year Govt introduced a new scheme - To get a copy of answer sheets that we wrote. Mom forced me to apply for all papers and cos of huge expenses I had put only for Maths. Then papers sowed many of my correct answers were put wrong !! I applied for reevaluation and my score got corrected to 190+(I couldn't get that elusive CENTUM tho'), with that score I could enter in to BITS, Yes but the main difference was it was in South instead of North INDIA !!

That one year showed me the REAL LIFE !! Life void of friendship, whom to trust and whom I shouldn't, Humiliation, Defeat, Year I weighed more than ever, Losing self respect, behaving badly, Showed how laziness will bring down your Self Belief, and it gave me worst of the news in continuous manner !! One who supported me through this darkest hours of my life time is "Godess Of My Life" in the form of MOM. I Love You So Much for taking it all and supporting me like nobody else !! Best part is that you have renderred this to me when I should have made you proud by getting good grades in school - I couldn't but U DIDN'T STOP from your kindness. Next best support I got was from my dad who told he is ready to pay a donation and make me join in any college I was willing to - even in stiff financial situtation @ home - Dad you taught us basics of Math very well, but consciously you didnt teach us the Money value to show the real value of life - "Relationship" !! I can't Thank You both - Let me give you what you desired - in couple of years time - "Pursuit of My Life" & will invite you for the convocation, Day is not far !!

April 30 2008, I started from the Island city - Singapore, bidding farewell to my client after a stint of 20 months with the world's leading bank to my new role. My Boss wanted the job transition to happen in a cool manner and so he send me packing for a much awaited break in my career - Vacation. From May 1 - May 5 my calendar pointed to - Calcutta and Sikkim. After a span of almost an year I met my bro - Vijay in Calcutta airport with his friend Manoj !! Starting with - Rasagulla Vs Maggi, to Hot & Humid Vs Cold N Windy -Two states had extreme differnces but 5 days were extreme fun with a good team (R 2 L Sitting) - Raj Swayne, Srikanth, Pradeep, My Bro - Vijay, Manoj (Standing) Me, Surya Kanth alias Surya Bulbs , Hari Prasad Reddy, Sartak Mohanty.

May 1 - Traveling is fun - When you are in Vacation !! I wanted to roam Calcutta as I won't get a chance to do it for quite some time, so my bro and his friend showed me the Beautiful Calcutta to me. Calcutta and beauty - What ?? It doesn't go hand in hand u say ? I beg to differ as I have seen a lot of beauties around Calcutta in Sarees, Jeans and all those dresses you would love to see the "Thithli's" to wear - I don't complain as they wear those kinds, cos of the sweltering heat n nothing else :) God Bless them !! We started our city tour with - Howrah Bridge !! It was a wonderful site in the morning !! Then we headed towards "Kali" temple - Blessing is what you expect from any temple but beware of the money minded pujari's and agents there - you will be allowed to take a good look of "GOD" only if you are paying them, otherwise you will be shoved away abruptly making way for the well paid, so called "DEVOTEES". Next pit stop of our trip was in Victoria Memorial hall and it was very good place for photography. Then we went to Vivekananda Mutt & we were off to Eden gardens - Our own Lords ground. It was a good day ended with a nice Chicken Roll in a street shop - It was a good and I could compare it with Iranian roll I ate in Singapore for 10 times its cost but the taste were almost same !! Then we boarded the bus for the trip to Siliguri (14hrs).

May 2 - We crossed the border to enter to the neighbouring state in North - SIKKIM - from what we heard from the cab walas - She is getting lot of benefits/sanctions from government for they are bordering CHINA. We hired a agent for the package which is normally covered in 5 days, Yes we covered 2500+ kms in 3 days - Siliguri to Gangtok(Capital of Sikkim) to Tsongo Lake to Nathula Pass by passed to Baba Mandir to Darjeeling to Siliguri to Darjeeling Mail to Calcutta. It was a different feeling alltogether as it was completely alien in many ways from what I was seeing for the last 2 nights in calcutta. In Calcutta I talked only about gals where as in Sikkim both sex are very beautiful - Face of Sikkimese are combi of Mangols, Chinese, and Nepalese - Good Cocktail Effect !! After we traveled for the morning session we reached our hotel in the evening. Then we went on to see the local monasteries, gardens, a Cable car ride in a windy climate covering the scenic hills of the city.
After which we had the best of the dinner with a famous Cherry Brandy with IPL match in the TV. We went for a walk in city side (M.G Road) of Gangtok, which was totally different from most of the hill stations I have been too - I heard it got refurbished with government funding for uplifting tourism. I must say - I liked it very much and we had INDIAN sweets. I happened to meet some Tamil tourist there cos of our Lallu's new tourist scheme for 10k covering Erode - Calcutta - Gangtok - Darjeeling - Erode.

May 3 - I would recommend everyone to explore North Sikkim more than any part of Sikkim to see the beauty of the God's Creation !! One of the glimpses is what we got in this trip - TSONGO Lake and it made me to make sure I will visit North Sikkim once again and also to other parts of North East INDIA in coming years - hopefully with my gal :) TSONGO Lake is breathtakingly beautiful - When you see it live some mystic feeling will pass through us and u will feel the peace covering yourself like ice covering the mountain strips all over !! You got to be there to believe it !! On the way we saw Mandagini water falls.
We hired a ice boots and then we bypassed Nathulla Pass to reach Baba Mandir - An INDIAN Army officer who even after his death served for us by coming in the dreams of the jawans was worshipped here in this temple. The best day of the trip ended with another long travel to Darjeeling and very good food and hospitality - Lodge in charge called us thrice to make sure of our SAFE journey and he even prepared us the local delicacies to induce the taste buds to increase the calories.

May 4 - We were asked to wake up as early as 3 'o' clock for to witness the famed "Sun Rise" in Tiger Hill of Darjeeling and we did obliged to the alarms for the first time in a long time !! We then climbed the Tiger Hill in sumo to find the best spot to see the transformation of dark space in to YELLOW BLANKET, we had a unfavorable mist cover that day to spoil the efforts of early wake up - but ended up with a good photo session of the gang with SUN in the background !! Then we freshened up ourselves in the hotel to start the last day of sight seeing - like Rock Garden, monastery, parks and then a shopping in Darjeeling. I would not recommend Darjeeling for my friends as I felt it as a chilly place with more crowd and less place to visit. After another nice meal in the same hotel we packed our bags in Tavera to catch our train in New Jalpai Guri (NJP). Tickets were not confirmed till 2 hrs before our departure. Luckily we got all tickets confirmed to catch a nice sleep b4 we arrived at Calcutta for my Bro and his team to attend the training.
May 5 - Calcutta was there to be explored still, so after daily rituals and packaging done, I went to CITY plaza. Ate Kachori and then went to watch a movie - IRON MAN. Took a taxi and moved to my Bro's Wipro office to say final Bye Bye to him and Calcutta - b4 taking a flight to Chennai. I need to explore these beautiful states of INDIA once again - Kyunki Hey DIL MAANGE MORE !!

Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrr then Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz then Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrr then Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz - It was/is/will be the rhythm of F1 !! I heard it with my Dad and not so sport freak my mom along with friends in the Grand Stand of Sepang, F1 circuit - Malaysia. My first live race of any motor sport event and I was a very much a satisfied person after the race. Main reason for my contentment were few - The Race itself, The Ticket - Way I got it and the amount for what I got it, and last but the best reason was it fueled my Photographic passion. It was a great chance to make my theoretical knowledge n less tried "Panning*" shots to kind of "I'm getting There" level !! I saw the world there - irrespective of color, creed, religion to enjoy the beauty of sport - hail it as long it continues to bring the UNITY !!

Practice - Yes if anybody is ready to come out of the "Comfort Zone" and if they are ready to work towards their goal then VICTORY is inevitable or unstoppable. One such example from our own land in sports field is - The Legend & The Little Master - Sachin Tendulkar !! According to my limited knowledge very few sports persons line up this list like - My All time favourite player -Michael Jordan (Basket Ball), Pete Sampras(Tennis), Vishwanathan Anand(Chess), Muhammad Ali(Boxer), they SUFFERED during their prime age in nets/court to make their name stand strong in the HISTORY when their friends were ENJOYING. An experienced person is what every blue chip company is looking for as any other Fortune 500 companies - If we look at the reason why - its their practice in the field they are working in, yes it gives the experience to be where they are but to reach where every body dreams to - I/We have to SUFFER NOW by practicing hard for to CONQUER BATTLES in the FUTURE, I'm ready to suffer now for the battle ahead in my new role and other endeavors in future - Wish Me Luck friends !!

My Dad used to cajole me during supper time in childhood days that he would take me to MOON one day, though it might become a reality in the future, as now a days - MOON is open for a weekend trips - LOL :). I dreamt of travelling in flight with my parent's in the side during my childhood days and I got an opportunity to make this dream a reality this year in March, and I did make use of it fully!!

My Dad and Mom started from the land of Filter Coffee to Paradise Island - Did you get it ?? Ok Ok, Chennai to Singapore - I say !! Then we - A gang of 7( went to KL in Toyota Wish to catch a flight to Langkawi to enjoy the first few days of our dream trip to reality in Langkawi - Full of beaches. A mountaineous resort with a good pool view from top was awaiting with a massage centre, sona bath, a gym, scenic view from the room along with wonderful service at our door steps. Same evening after a good landing we all went to the nearest beach ending with a INDIAN dinner(U get it every where in Malaysia).

Second day we went for Island hopping in a boat to 3 islands - Mangroove Islands, Eagle Feeding Island, then a scenic beautiful lush green island. Same day we went to DON/BILLA fame bridge in Langkawi to get a bird's eye view of Langkawi from the cable car and bridge on top - It was lovely experience !! It was drizzling all the way on the top giving a serene touch. Once the rain stooped the whole mountain was glitterring cos of the dews and sun rays !!

3rd day we started off from our resort to catch our flight back to KL, as our fortune struck us with multiple horns we missed our flight to KL, even when we reached 30 minutes b4 the flight take off - Rules U C - Its not INDIA !! We payed our penalties to catch KL flight to fly to KLCC. As luck was on my side the group headed straight to Sepang Malaysia to watch the F1 Malaysia 2008, and I got the Grand Stand ticket for 500 RMB total !! I never thought in my life I will get a chance to see that from grand stand !! It was a good treat for a bad morning !! Then we headed to KL to catch a glimpse of Petronas Tower and KL City to grab the dinner to end a perfect trip in Malaysia.

Next week was spend with my parent's in Singapore. We went to Sentosa & Vivo city, Raffles, Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Sun Tech (My Ex - Office), Esplanade, Little India, and in the mean time they even went to an Janarthanam - an Indian friend's home. It was a great trip which has fulfilled my childhood dreams. Dad I promise that I will fulfill your other wishes when you are coming abroad next time !!

I denied a friends comment on me as "sELfiSh/sELf cEntErEd pErSoN" during my first year of my college!! I couldn't accept this statement when it came from a person who was dear to my heart. That day I thought I wasn't a selfish person, but after I traversed a couple of phases and seen quite a few people in this half a dozen years I have realized couple of things,

A) I was selfish THEN.
B) Everyone Are !!
C) Degree of Selfishness varies b/w each person.
D) Being sELfiSh is not wrong as long as it doesn't affect others !!

Leave A as it is my own personal life. But coming to point B and C, why Am I making a statement like that, Why, What made me say that ? Going by hypothesis - "SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST" we humans live our life with that as a THUMB RULE knowingly or unknowingly in this world. By living like this we automatically fall prey for being selfish - U may ask how ? If you think deeply - A work is done for some motive/need to satisfy SELF/FAMILY/SOCIETY. Whatever the cover we can take to hide ourselves in these forms - it will cover, to the outside world but to our conscience we may or may not know that whatever we do is for OUR sake. Selfishness is taught/breed/seen by our society in different forms like Passion,Goals,Vision etc. It might be little harsh but IT's THE HARSH REALITY !!

1) As a student you submit assignments first - Why ?
2) As a professional you finish your work as early as you can and report it to your head - Why ?
3) As a CEO you want to show profits to stake holders - Why ?
4) As a PM/President of a country you try to curb INFLATION - Why ?

To get good marks, To get raise in post/salary, To build the brand, To come to Power again - Degree of Selfishness varies !! If you look at the positives of this selfishness everything is good.Is it not good to get good marks ? Is it not good to finish the project before the deadline ? Is it not good to put INFLATION under check ? Everything is good from our angle but if you see the other side of the coin, Not everyone can finish or be sincere as you are to submit before the deadline/ your ways to curb inflation might/is/are affecting other economy - so here we pave the way for the COMPETITION to start and for SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST life cycle to lead us to crooked /wrong /unethical way of achieving it !!

When you are selfish for your improvement or your family's improvement or your country's - then it is good as a person/ as a family member/ as a citizen but it might/is/are affecting some other person/family/country somewhere else !! Yes one selfish motive of UK to make a statement "SUN NEVER SETS IN BRITAIN" true brought 2 world wars, birth and death of Japan, Germany. If US of A is not sELfiSh for natural resources then why they are still allowing their soldiers/Iranians/Humans to die ? Cycle keeps repeating in itself - only the nations/ boundaries keep changing TAKING TURNS forgetting the basics - WE ALL ARE UNDER ONE ROOF - EARTH !! We can BE SELFISH - wHo iS nOt ?? AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T AFFECT OTHERS - Its very tough but Doable !! Yes and it is not wrong to be selfish as THAT drives the world in a healthy direction to some extent as LONG AS IT DOESN'T AFFECT OTHERS !! If not this "What made us where WE ARE ?"

cErEBr@TiOn 08' - Is where a B-School aspirant, B School Grad, Entrepreneur, Corporate giants should be to get an idea of how the Consultant go about seducing the Multinationals/Local companies with their Business Plans to increase their profit from minimal to sky is the limit !! The judges and the Case Sponsors who all are Entrepreneur from this island were very happy with the presentation but except for the projection of their B-Plans to be profitable or expanison of the organisation in just 3-5 years when Entrepreneur were able to achieve that in a decades time. Nevertheless it was a good show from all the Finalist, except for one B-School which showed complete professionalism in their attire, presentation, logic, plan, and on stage charisma - HEC Montreal, Undisputed and eventual champions for this years event, followed by Islanders and host - NUS B School - "NUStalwarts". It was a resounding success for the NUS B School hosting an event of this magnitude but one blip in this event is organizing on a Friday afternoon where not many B- Plan enthusiasts/B School aspirants can participate. Please change the timings is the only request from my side and I wish - Hip Hip Hurrah to HEC Montreal for being there in the finals and to collect the 10k Sing Dollar Cheque !!

Fourth Week of March is uber cool, few learnings, couple of new initiatives and a seminar from IMD professor - Winter Nie about - "Service Excellence" @ Conrad Centennial, Singapore. Good session and came to know about the Key Attributes that sets a Company or a Person in the "Elite Panel" from the rest. Keep it in mind for we need to be in Elite,

1) Strong belief in your IDEA & Instill the same VISION in your Employees.
2) Leader should WALK THE TALK
3) Company should have a Good Product
4) Best Possible SERVICE not for company but for the Customers !!
5) Continuous improvements in the same/new field & Feedback implementation.
6) Look @ Problem as Opportunity and FINDING the ROOT CAUSE to give the SOLUTION.
7) Consistency - With out this it will not help us/organization.
8) Recovery Plan/ Process should be in place.
9) You should know the "Target Customer" whom you are addressing.
10) Connect with Customers through EMOTIONAL attachment - Empathy from Heart will WIN contracts.
11) Customize to the needs of the Customer.
12) End Product is what the Customer see - Keep it attractive, Cheap, Usable, Portable, Compatible to old systems.

A sports person I can closely relate to the above quote is our own "Mr.Wall". I started admiring this person for his simple charismatic resolute nature with a will power made of Iron !! Everyone said he was a splendid "Test Batsmen" but not a good one day batsmen and it was reflected in the selection comittee's decision - "Dropped" in his early stint in oneday squad. Not many gave a thought that he would come back to change the average of his oneday career from a paltry one to a notable figures -Its cos he "Tried" consistently to - outdo himself !! He did achieve that and more beyond to get a name he alone in INDIAN team can hold among his mates. I rate him higher than the World's Best's cos he delivered when INDIA needed the most and in dire situations. Singapore has given me to touch the F1 Car some time back and now it has given me the opportunity to meet my idol in cricket - Yes I happened to meet the one and only Mr.Dravid with his wife and Jr !! What a moment it was for me to speak to him and get his auotgraph on the bill !! Wow I still relive the moment and it will linger now and then for years to come.

We are flipping the pages in book called "World Map" and we got to read the chapter called "b!nT@N - !NdOnEsI@". We ( L- R Muthu Sir, Ashok, Me, Anand, Farooq, Mahantesh)packed our bags and headed to Tana Merah Ferry Terminal to board the ferry to Bintan Agro resort. What a Pleasant surprises - the ferry team were calling out our names and we rushed to get in to Ferry after the immigration check. We went to the top of the ferry to get a "Titanic" feel and it was a smooth sailing till we reached Bintan. Our guide "Chitra" - We were surprised to hear an Indian name, took us to the Sea side beach resort. Room was good with a scenic view of the beach from the balcony and when you step out of your room you can see sky blue swimming pool easily inducing us to dive in.

We started off with our lunch in a wrecked boat gave the feel of the beach. Then we kicked of our campaign to win the Beach Football - hands down I would say that was my/our best ever football match in may be everyone's lifetime. Farroq's relived the moment of Beckam - with a replica of "Bend It Like Beckam" kick !! We fought hard but for Farooq and Anand's heroics snatched them a good WIN but we LOST in a energy sapping two rounds of game albeit the best efforts of our team !! Few hours of break then for the first time in my life whole team went for Kayaking - It was an awesome and tiresome experience!! Awesome - cos it is the first time in my life I'm went for a kayak and to add excitement to that I did it alone, it was tiresome cos even after kayaking for close to 30 min we couldn't reach the "White Sand Island" which was visibly close to our naked eyes !! Then we realised - How tough the life for Fisherman's are !!

From water and sailing now again to beach for playing beach Volley, now its not alone our group, but it was an International encounter. A clash of INDIA Vs UKRAINE !! What a game it was we were losing in the initial set and when Anand came in we started to reverse the scenario to beat the Ukranians in 3-0 of the best of 5 encounter. Next pit stop is in swimming pool and then the day winded peacefully in the supper table with bill touching One Lakh Rupiya* for just two guys (*Indonesian currency) !!

Next day after a very good breakfast we decided to go for "Snorkelling. We choose an island "Wapura" which was far off and little wavery. Mahantesh and Farroq the Ian Thorpe's of our crew can swim only in pool , but we convinced them to come with us - as we 4 members knew swimming quite well. Now with fears in their mind but smile in their face Farooq and Mahntesh boarded the speed boat to take the plunge of their life with life jacket to protect them. Once we started in the speed boat, everyone had a share of luck to keep a hand on the driving wheel. Once the wheel was in the hands of captain he showed his skills with boat going at full speed and most of the time the boat was in "AIR" and equally fierce waves made the boat to plunge in to ocean quite often. For every jump our breakfast was ready to see the world.The captain showed no signs of fear but everyone started to feel the heat more specifically the sea sickness feeling so we need to turn back after covering almost the distance in 30 min. So when we reached the shores again we asked Mahnthesh - who was sitting in the front row with hands tightly holding the steel bar - " How Did you felt Mahntesh ?" - he told all his life he has never experienced this kind of threat, but to tell you he never showed that in his face, till he reached the shores -Bravo Mahntesh, Bravo !!

After returning to resort, 4 of us decided to go for snorkelling again but in the near by "White Sand Island" which we thought of Kayaking the day before. For the first time in my life I did snorkelling to find the Corals, Star Fish, A big Shell, Nemo Fish and quite a few fish species. Then we swam to reach the white sand island to find a fisherman's hut. Hut is max of 10 x 10 area made of palm leaves with gaps to get sun light and ventilation but no current, and they don't have the best of the equipments to support their day today life, but they got a scenic beauty of the never ending blue horizon of sea and cloud with peace and tranquillity filling the place is still vivid in my memory. This trip is one of the best trips for us, as the whole team had a fun and Only FUN !! We are trying to read all the pages - Next page is around the corner - Lets read it later !!

Singapura - A Tribute to Its Glory

Singapore - A city I admire for Vision, Marketing and Maintenance. Yes these are the main characteristics that sets her to remain in the best city's list. We need to know who is the visionary behind this city's global outlook - The Lee Kuan Yew. He is the First Prime Minister of Republic Singapura and the man behind the team who built/building this tiny nation from a nowhere in the world map to watchable economy. Now lets move to Marketing - Yes indeed a best Manegerial practical course on Marketing is held in this city. You may ask why ? Answer lies in their "Blowing Trumphet" policy for nothing but a normal event of some other S.E. Asian countries. Yes they market everything what they built/build to astronomical level so that the Tourists flok to these places to find that its all available in their home country, minus - Cleanliness. One event we witnessed yesterday is one good example of that Chingay 08'. It was similar to our festival but here they do it in a money making professional way. For every bit of good things you enjoy here - U have to shell your $$ - but whatever you are spending you will get the reward for it - which is what missing in most S.E. Asian countries. Yes its great to build a Taj Mahal but without maintaining - it's same as rotten place. Maintenance factor that is happening without glitch here gives a gr8 look to this city. It's always gr8 to build a Product but who gives SERVICE remain the leader - Singapore are one of the best in that, maintaining what they have in best possible way. Ex - A mall's glass indoors will be cleaned 3 times a day even when there is no dust :) I love this country, but my heart remains in INDIA !!

Lucky Lucky Lucky....what else to say other than that -When you are asking just for a glimpse of Schumi's F1 Car you are provided with "A Champagne, A Ferrari cap, A Miniature Ferrari Car" all for one contest - Pit Stop Fuel Contest. I won this contest for filling the fuel in 6.9 seconds. What a gr8 moment for me and I get to touch the Schumi's F1 car, which he has driven himself in 2005 Formula 1 race. Being a F1 & Ferrari fan and an ardent supporter of Schumi - I loved the moment.

Happy New Year To All !! Yes indeed this is a New Year for Mr.Ratan Tata and his team of innovative engineers @ Tata Motors and to Incredible INDIA!! World is awestruck to see "NANO - People's Car " which everyone thought was not possible to bring it to reality. When it was in the design stage it was scoffed off as it will not meet the international standards, when it was unvieled to the public eyes - they sounded like GREEN REVOLUTIONIST attracting every quarter of the globe to go against one visionary man - Mr. Ratan TATA, but he stood like Howard Roark - protagonist in the one of the best novels I ever read - "Fountain Head" - to withstand the detractors around him to see his vision thru' in the form of a People's Car NANO. I love it !! I Love anything that has tag - "MADE IN INDIA". Yes, as a proud INDIAN we need to love all the indigenous products given with the quality of this genre !! Tho' I haven't tested it, but I still believe, it will go on to create a History in Auto industry. Mr.Ratan you have "Delivered On Your Promise" and by that you have become a great inspiration for others to follow suit. You are defining a New Territory and making the detractors to follow - You are one Hell of a person !! Bro Shall we go for one ?? Our First - Our Own INDIAN car @ easily affordable price - Awaiting......

Flags Fluttering everywhere as team INDIA captured Twenty20 Cup. I'm very happy as every INDIAN. Joy would have been doubled if Mr.Wall captured the previous shorter version of the game. Not many supported the INDIAN outfit when they started the campaign - but that is when I backed them as I did for Dravid in his lean patch. The habit of not supporting "A PERSON WHEN HE NEEDED MOST" is what happening in reality when otherwise would do a lot of wonders. Not once INDIA came out of the brink of defeat to victory - it was 4 matches in a row, yes they were awesome as an unit, brought back the cricket crazy fans back to their feet and b4 TV and many companies even lost their man hours - like Rajeev's.

INDIAN team was showered with MONEY and ONLY MONEY - for they have done a clean job , BUT is it something no one has achieved it b4 ? NO - Aussies are making it a ROUTINE - Only if they lose it's becoming a NEWS. Then why this kind of euphoria when INDIAN team wins it ? Is it cos INDIANS win it after 22 years(Meaning they are inconsistent) and not many world beaters in other sports ? Why people throng their stars only when they win and not when they lose? Haven't these people never lost anything in their life and craved for support? Only when DOMESTIC is stabilised we will be a team to beat like AUSSIES now and WINDIES in yester years or else it will be a one of situation for another decade and so called fans will turn their back in No time.

YES only when attitude changes and visionaries comeup INDIA will be a DEVELOPED NATION in 2020 rather than DEVELOPING NATION by then . Lets carry on this fire on all cylinders to make INDIA a country to live in, an economy to compete with, and FORCE TO RECKON IN ALL Departments - Take Defeat in Stride But Never Lose the Lessons from the Loss - as OUR INDIAN team did !! 3 Cheers to Young Guns headed by Dhoni !!

A Silver Jubilee is a time to look back and thank every person who has contributed and a time to pause and reflect on all the good work done.

Silver Jubilee - For Who ? - It's me !! My existence in this planet is nearing 25 years in a days time. Im going to celebrate my 25th birthday by thanking few people I value and can die for - I mean It.

My Dad & Mom - Yes I'm here and if I'm walking on the Earth properly with no problems any where, its cos my parents have given me what I needed as a child.

Dad - Appa is what I fondly call him and we had our High tides & low tides sandwitched by a normal life, the experiences and the best lesson which I will take from him in these 25 years is "NEVER GIVE UP" . I grew up considering Dad as my idol - as any kid. He taught me how to play most of the sport I knew now - We as a sons would defintely be proud to say we had all the sporting equipments for most of the sports during our childhood days. A hard days @ work ends with a massage - "Our walk on his Back" was his relaxation. He was a Man of Loyalty - Yes he never wanted to betray others and man who beliefs and befriends everyone, and most importantly a person "Who Treated All Souls as Equals". The way he took care of us, how much he stressed for the cleaniness, the way he cook us chicken, he was a Math tutor too. In the high school & college years our family was surviving the worst economy - our family has ever gone thru in my life time- If I was in my Dad's shoes - I would have been shouting with the stress I would go thru' but he has never yelled at me for money as a reason, even he was ready to put me in college by paying handsome of money - I don't know why was he ready to do that - Is it cos of the over spending nature for His Kids , Or for me to get a good education from one of the good colleges around, Or Was that a Fatherly duty - May be all !! DAD - Thanks, U GAVE/GIVES/WILL GIVE US THE BEST. I would like to see you as young and trim as you were when we became a Family !!

Mom - A woman who shaped me and shaping me for ever from my Day 0, yes she was the lady who acted as the Fulcrum of our Family and showed me "What dedication is to her Kids & Family ?" - yes she stayed home for us all throughout her married life to bring up their beautiful kids to face the "Fittest Survive World". She has a smiling face & has never showed the emotions she was going thru' inside. She got in to library and wrote my first ever prize winning notes- which made me a Orator in my school days and later on gave me the confidence to take on the larger gathering - Paper presentation I did during my UG days. Yes she gave me the lessons of my life - when I was personally going thru a worst night mare of my life - Losing Self belief, but it was my Mom who showed me the Lights again by taking the hard walk with me and showed me "Love Is the Ultimatum" - It can turn a person from no one to anything he likes to, My MOM U'R LOVE is THE BEST I got ever on those rainy days of my life. The one main lesson I learnt from her - "Talk To the Top Person, To get Your Work Done", yes she did for both my bro and me to get the best education her children can get. Buzz word during my childhood days were - "Education is the Key to One's Upliftment" though I haven't realised it then completely now we are realising it after we are earning our bread - Only cos of the Education and degrees which stands and will stand for ever with us. Yes it was my Mom who had sown the seeds in our minds, now we bear the FRUIT - of her persistence, hard work and affection even when she had gone thru many a obstacles and turbulence mentally and physically. If the situation beckons She always try to avoid the bad news to their children for their Well Being, yes she asked Dad not to reveal about her accident from me cos I was writing my 2nd sem. Mom - I have cried many a times, feeling really proud and happy for having come out of your womb as ur SON.

Both of them gave us enough Freedom to explore, as my mom stood by the word - "Kalavum Kattru Mara" (Learn Everything - Bad & Good, take the Good and Forget the Bad). Is there anything on Earth I could ever do to equal their Love and Affection on Us ? I don't think there is any - If there is one it would be to act the same way to my Children(In the future) as my Parents did to Us, but I will love to show my kindness in anyway I can, in the years to come. I thank you both on my 25th B'day for having you As Our Parents - I know my Bro would agree on all accounts on the above.

Bro - A person who has experienced everything b4 Me - affection from my Dad & Mom, everyone in our family, schooling, brotherhood, sports etc and after my birth he disliked me for the share I vouched for... as EQUAL RIGHTS. He treated me as his foe in our childhood days as I wanted to take his place in bed time and seeked for more attention. I know it led to a scar in his mind which I'm feeling bad and would like to take this opportunity to say Sorry for those acts - which was done when my brain was just growing and Attention was the key word, yes I was child then and it was not Intentional My Bro - Please forgive me !! We were playing cricket, tennis and I enjoyed every moment of our Teen years. He doesn't like to lose against me in anything then and One incident is still greeen in my memory - A Chess game, the sport I learned by watching my bro and dad play , that day he was about to lose but he never accepted defeat - So he Clean Sweeped the Board to take away the victory from me and defeat against his name - I write this to say he is FIGHTER to the core, he doesn't like to lose at any cost. One lesson I have learnt from him is "Show Your Love, Dont Hide It" yes he was hiding his love for me in his HEART - He was so proud of me but KEPT TO HIS HEART and revealed to his conscience more and concealed it to me - then I realised who he really he is, only in my college days. "A man whom I can count on all the front - A person who is going to lead me when the World is going to be ". Bro Thanks for being My Bro in this life time- Wiser in Thoughts and always better and elder than me.

Bachem, Khaala's & Khaaka - If U dont know the place "MuDgAwN" then what about "mArGaO"- OK I'm giving a clue - famous for beaches and sea food, still wondering...hopefully not, Yes it is GOA and we relished there with a DIL CHATHA HAI kind of snap in Sharpora Fort !! It was a 3 day trip for which team came from 2 different direction. We reached bit early and we started the day of in Colva beach then we headed towards our resort near Calangute beach. We dived in a pool with rain just giving an acupuncture treatment while couple of friends were still reaching the place :) Same night we headed to Calangute beach - 8 ppl in 2 Activa well it was a gr8 ride and luckily we were never caught by police and turned late after dinner. Next day we hired 2 more bikes and then went to Sharpora Fort and then to Panjim (Capital of Goa) searching for the famous Aguada Fort - where Amir & Co stood, then we went to Old Goa to see the churches of some ages standing as it was built. Then did a shopping in Panjim ended up eating there and moved on to hit the bed at 12 - exactly the time we need to leave the vehicles back to ppl we rented from. Next day we again dived in to pool then we headed back to Vasco da Gama - for part of the crew to board - Air Deccan and we departed with loads of memory and happiness filled in our hearts but sadness, tiredness were evident in everyones face as - A 2 weeks of planning came to a halt with another Goan lunch in Red Chillies :) EVERY ONE HAD A GR8 TIME !!!

Very Happy to meet my school buddies J (Jayanth), Mothi (Muruganand), Nandi (Arunanadi Chelvan) after a gap of an year. We all with J's colleague went to Goa trip for 3 days. Wow we had a excellent outing there in a nice resort. We travelled inside Goa with bikes which we rented for. We had a nice Sea Food for 2 days - Bill touched 3k every time :) Now u all know why I'm fit.

Balamurugan - A gang Leader in our skool days and now a Senior S/W Engg in IN--L - Hmmm time flies leaving our F'ship in dream but ORKUT changed it. Now we are connected again :) We had a nice half a day tour of Blr along with a stop over dinner in Forum with Kaaats(Madesh), Pizza hut :-)

My Bro Friends :-

Vasanthan - A guy who promised and delivered. A hundreds of thanks wont suffice his F'ship towards my bro. He helped my bro a lot "When my Bro needed Most".
Arun Balaji - A guy who finished his studies in Aussie,is now an entrepreneur - Yes he started his food chain "Dhaksin" in Bangalore :)

First Years :-

When I was in my final year I met and ragged then first year juniors - Prasanna, Zee Karthik, Arun Anna, Prateesh, Ram Guhan, Shyamnath, Sriram, Vinod, Arun. It was those days when I befriended them thru' ragging and that F'ship made me to go back to my UG college this summer. What a night it was - Had a gr8 dinner and then enjoyed a stay again in the hostel room with them & happened to see their so called Dance - Huh what a laught riot we had ?? Those dance moves made me to laugh all the way to stomach pain :-) Thx Vimal for ur amazing moves :-)

Tutors --> Sisters :-

Same day I met my First year tutors who turned to be a friend and then lovable Sisters - Evelyn Brinda & Arun Anto. Both of them have a gr8 kids who are too clever and beautiful :) Daniel - Arun Anto mam's kid was shy and calm as Anto Mam. Anto Mam thanks for ur helps as Final Year Project Guide. Varshini Linda - Evelyn Brinda mam's gal is amazingly cute - looks like a Nerd as her score card suggests :-)
Hema Mam - Who took "DataStructure" for me, helped me in clearing the paper and also in a special project for FUTURA(A National College Event in our College) - A replica of Harsha Bogle's ESPN School Quiz. Now happy to see her family in to CSC and her kid - Saurabhi is roaming around mam's leg when ever she is @ home. Mam Thanks for ur help.

Arivu Mani is what the heading as been translated in to. He stands as a definition to his name. A man of few words but highly knowledgable guy. I had a full night chat with him to understand his life story and came to know he was much greater person than I thought off b4. Hats off to his achievements so far and All the Best for the forthcoming ones !!!

GURU(Siva)JI :-

The Boss of POLARIS, he was my direct junior, my team mate in basketball and now my colleague(Centre Snap). What a chap he is - he respects everyone and we had a nice chat about our crushes in college and found solace that both didn't convert it in to a love affair :-). Good or Bad - We both felt it as a good experience !! He showed me a new fad of watches - CUBES from Pantaloons, which I got it for 40% discounted rate. Whooo I have a New watch - My Time in Life is changing to Best - Touch Wood !!

College Friends :-

First one I met was Dandu - "Rain Against" is his nick name. I enjoyed the rendezvous as it was the most fulfilling for him and me for seeing his affection towards me :) Then I met my friend Suresh alias Kamu, who started from Kerala to meet me and rest all gang of IT "B". We(Goldvel,G,Kutti,Vijay,Vadivel,Sriram)all went to Residency for our Supper, which they later on converted to a treat - I was the Goat this time around for all the reasons on earth :)

Room Mates :-

My UG room mates - Sathish (I fondly call him Kunda) & Harish & Yuva were all in one corner of TN this time, but managed to see the first 2 guys in their own Den. The highlight of meeting the lions in their Den is "We get Good Food" and this time around I got the Best Food with perks as shopping !!! I owe a treat to Harish's mom for their Chicken Curry :-) I luv to go to Sathis's home once again for the Full Meals (Veg).

I also met Bharani(My opp room mate in college) - we even went to a film called "Kreedam" acted by Ajith, and Xcolleagues - Stephen, Karthik...... I met All whom I had planned to meet and who ever were available. This gave me an energy and time to cherish for another year to work in a place were I have few ppl to count on :) Thank You Guys for these moments !!!

A Trip - Once In A Life Time !!!

I'm back to my roots after an year of alienation in a small but beautifully maintained City/Country - Singapore. My vacation started with a bang - A Family Trip after 20 long years. A trip which has brought us together - Just to relax and recuperate !! Early morning we started from home when even nocturnal mammals tend to sleep and 2 hours of travel led to a bright and well lit - Tirupathi temple, where we happened to listen to a woman with a gr8 voice singing "Subrabatham" - A good start with God's support indeed (which was helpful in latter part of our tour) !! We reached Ooty, then moved to Avalanche with Chevy loaded with all the provisions to stay there - What a place to stay was the comment from my Bro !! (Hope you all agree to it after seeing the snap). We had a nice time for 2 days and then we started to move to a Dam site, but there was a road block due to trees falling cos of heavy wind and rain in that area. Trip that lasted for just 2 days will be etched in our mind for ever - As we were together on a trip after a very long time.

A post on books - a long pending one in my blog. Yes I have very recently inculcated this habit of reading books, tho' my mom has stressed this from my childhood. Mom for your relentless try - I have picked the books in my hands " On My Own" without any compulsion from any exams, marks or staffs. Yes atlast I'm realising the value of books and they are becoming my part of lifestyle. Some of the experiences which I have gone through in life is already written by someone who has written it in a way I have experinced - What a feeling to rejoice the moments when we read those kind of lines ? Malaysia - Truly Asia !!!

Day 1 :-)

A trip to Malaysia with my new buddy - Vijay was amazing for many a reasons. We boarded the bus in Kovan,Singapore perfectly on time with driver and rest of the passenger waiting our arrival for 30 min, yes we reached on time for travel but not for the checkin time. The bus then moved to the immigration point of both the borders and we entered Malaysia to reach our first destination - Melaka or Malaca meaning "Welcome to Malaysia". A Historical place known for local cuisine and kind people. First visit was Butterfly farm - which quenched my photographic thirst. We got a lift back to the bus station from a localite after a scortching wait for the bus. Out of 100 cars he was third person to stop and but only person to give lift to us - who is keen on marrying Pretty Zinta - Azib All the best man !!! We then moved on to our next pit stop Serambawan inorder to catch a cab to our one night stay in Eagle Ranch Resort in Port Dickson(A Chance event - Malaysian Tourism Quiz gave us the gift ) - One of my best ever resort experieces so far with facilities including an amazing wooden room & natural semi open bathroom with falls like shower, swimming pool, Gokarting, horse riding, volleyball, An amazing top view & last but not the least beaches just behind the room - What a serene place we were in - made me feel I was gifted !!! I hit the bed @ 12 and wow I havent slept like that day for a while - A peaceful sleep with absolute content in heart !!!

Day 2 :-- )

Started with a thunderous effect - yes woke up with the rains amidst deep sleep. Started the day with a walk down to the sea shore just behind the room, had a pleasant walk in sand with no ppl around - first time a beach which was not crowded. Then had a dive in the swimming pool which was amazingly cool after the raineffect, followed with Go Karting with inmates. We then started our trip to much awaited capital city of Malaysia - Kulalumpur fondly called as KL among ASEAN's. Twin tower wich attracted millions of tourist every year has not spared us, and the Sky Bridge which connects the Petronas Twin Tower has a daily visitors of 1600 only. I had a strong inner feeling that we will walk in the sky bridge and it became real as our luck was by our side & we got the tickets to get to Sky Bridge even tho' we didnot stand in the queue @ early morning, cos one Malay guy gave the extra 2 tickets to us. Once the 5 min walk in the mid of 88 floor tower was over we had a quick lunch. Then we started to the next tower - KL Tower to be followed with view of KL from Eye on Malaysia !!! Trip ended with a great food from one Indian muslim restaurant. We bid farewell to Truly Asia with eyes closed inside the bus to Uniquely Singapore.

Yes lot of new things have added to me in the past one month,

1) I got THIRD EYE - Yes my first camera in my Life - A DSLR from Canon family !!!

2) I now have comp in my Lap - yes "Think Pad" in Chinese form - Lenovo :)

3) I have changed my home and I'm now staying with some more techies from, where else our own land of brain & beauty - INDIA !!!

4) Well I'm on my way to Malaysia, and from now on I will be typing my daily experiences @least once in a week as I'm connected with web in my new home :)

All of a sudden life looks too bright.....as the flower !! i'm enjoying the moment.

I feel everything in Life is a momentary/temporary. Everything in life is different from other. Today is different from yesterday and definitely from tomorrow. We are not the same what we were/are going to be!! Some moments are most enjoyable for me but it would not be for others. You can try anything - but to recreate similar moments will almost be impossible, so instead of trying to think about the lost/future moments which may/maynot happen, concentrate on the PRESENT. We are trying hard to make temporary moments permanent.............

It was not I craved for...but I got it cos of my love affair with sleep, procrastination, laziness, known and unknown worries that culminted for a Hiatus !!! Well sometime in life we dont know why are we doing something - for some ppl it might end in a day, for some it might take weeks, but for me it took couple of months. I was not enjoying this break cos it was not my wish, but it happened with my knowledge and I allowed it. Hope U all had this sort of experience in ur life too !!! Tried to find why am I going thru' this break, the answer came out was - " I was STATIC " for a while. We should keep ourself occupied with something or the other, Hiatus more than a week WILL START TO CONSUME US !!! Think about your next Move -BUT Keep Moving, Directions doesn't matter as long as U R MOVING - One day u will realise u have moved this path FOR A REASON !!!

Mistakes = Learning’s/Opportunity, Yes if we look @ the mistakes we had committed so far, all of them would have offered a lesson/ teaching/ opportunity to us, along with some sort of disappointment. The attitude to look at the opportunity can be inculcated @ any point of time in our life and it takes a bit of time cos we have been used to LOOK @ DISAPPOINTMENT WITH MAGNIFYING LENS rather than using the same lens to view the Learning’s/Opportunity. For all Supervisor (I know @ every point of our life we will have one – Starting from DAD 2 PM 2 PRESIDENT of Organization) please DON’T SCOLD YOUR PEERS FOR THE MISTAKES committed, rather GUIDE them when they do so.

The Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay is a waterside building located on six hectares of prime waterfront land alongside Marina Bay near the mouth of the Singapore River, purposely-built to be the centre for performing arts for the island nation of Singapore. It contains a 1,600 seat concert hall and a 2,000 seat theatre for the performing arts. First time in my life I happened to view a Live performance of an upcoming band - HYBRID - thru' " Lunch Box @ Esplanade" - A special program where Esplanade allows budding talents in Singapore to come and perform b4 a huge gathering on every last tuesday of a month. I'm glad Singaporeans are good @ spotting & recognising the talents, which most other countries fail to do.(I wud say size of this small Island Nation is helping them in many ways)

Lau Pa Sat - Built in 1894, Lau Pa Sat is the largest remaining Victorian filigree cast-iron structure in Southeast Asia. Located in the heart of Singapore's business district, the former wet market has been restored and is now a favourite food centre of the locals, offering a wide and affordable variety of local foods. I did eat few of the best - Satay Chicken, Tom Yam Soup, Sting Fish and Octopus , it was 2 good to be tasted - Courtesy Mr. Maran(A Singaporean entrepreneur in Security system) . For a novice like me it was an eye opener to the local food & I had a galla night, with my new find humorous & witty friends - Mutharasu, Maran , Siva & Padmini

One day out of curiosity I asked my frens y they call so – many reasons popped out but the one which stood out “ U look like a Chinese” and other being the use of Chinese products , courtesy my Aunt !!! Tho’ I wanted to put an end to it when I entered college …but it remained my nick name thru’ out my student life !!! One of my life time experiences - boarding "The Concorde " of India - INDIAN, for my first ever abroad travel was indeed a breath taking experiences - The street lights lit up whole of Chennai and made me to sit upright and made me say WOW !!! To be frank INDIAN was a big bus that which flies - No Big Difference ?? Next morning I was in Singapore - A well planned city of 35x45 kms filled with Malls, Shopping Centres and well maintained ROADS and Appartments with ever bustling activity and people all around !!! In last couple of months I have had some FIRST TIME EXPERIENCES and these are the ones will linger in my mind for ever- One such is Singaporeeeeeee!!!!

Guys, While there is much to learn from outer space, especially from one insect by name “ANT” their appearance might deceive us from the amount of work they do, See this picture though ANT’S SIZE IS SMALL “BUT” IT CARRIES A LEAF WHICH IS DOUBLE IT’S SIZE. Guys if we realize our potential we can “ACHIEVE THE INEVITABLE”, that’s what ANT’S are used to !!! I'm sure that up close, there is so much to learn from this six-legged insect. First Year : Year of Independence

We reigned supreme in all the fields that we wanted to - u think in studies, in that too, but especially bunking classes, giving OD, sitting late nights (hey c'mon not 4 studies) to chit chat,watch movies and go outing to near by hill station to have a "Coffee", giving ideas to help his friend to crack ...... not the exams then wat ??? Girls heart !!! First year is wen lot of luv , lot of crushes & so many of them seemed to be happening in everyone's life for the first time . To sum up First Year- Best year in College !!!

Second Year : Year of "Cup of Life"

The year of transformation - from Junior to 'Gethu' Senior, from obedient to outstanding(u know guys wat i mean), best of them all from Bharathiar University to Anna University !!! The last transformation gave a new meaning to our educational records, yes we got arrears for the first time, tho' everyone sud have been feeling bad about it , NO ONE DID , cos all had their "Cup of Life"

Third Year : Year of Ruling

The Birth of Management Guru's - Yes , this year iii Year rule the whole college. All the events - cultural, technical symposiums all were organised by US with Appreciation coming from all quaters. This year of college life gave lot of student to showcase their talents for their department - we never thought that there is so much "Hidden Talents" buried in them. It was an opportunity to bring out those and inspire them to whole new horizon of life - Success & Fame

Fourth Year : Year of Metamorphisis

Guys started realising this is not the end of the world - "Tommorow ???" the question started to haunt whom will I be after this final year.......it made us to think. Everyone of us started preparing - everyone of us cleared arears and helped others to do the same . The placements, resumes,GD's ,Interviews and Job offers - Yes it was a happy year for some but not for all. The final year projects and exams all over , with a very good Farewell from our Juniors - winded our college life.I wish all my friends to get placed and have a great life !!!

U know during my childhood I wanted to finish my schooling as soon as possible, even during my college days same thoughts prevailed(Simple reason being Learning I thought will end @ this stage), BUT soon I realised - Learning is A Never Ending Process !!! The learning ends when life ends, If somebody accepts my view then u hav reached a level better than the rest, but it's for the rest of U who stand perplexed,life will teach U wat I have meant, Life is ............. Hello people !!!

It's long time i have met u all, cos of reasons i cannot single out? Iam refreshed, charged up after being in the state of hibernation - u want to know the reason for me getting rejuvenated I played Table Tennis after a long time -it is not my cup of tea , but that game has brought me some life in me!!! I wud suggest everyone of u to take up a sport of u'r interest and availability in ur environ, but make sure u play a sport. If u r telling that Iam playing in PC , chuck that idea out of u'r mind(which most of the kids r doing now a days) the few negatives in Technological advancements. "SPORT" as such brings Enthusiasm, allows u'r mind to relax( if u clearly notice while u spend time in playing a game u'r thoughts will b focussed on that rather than worrying about u'r work), it helps u to keep ur self in a good shape and physique,it teaches u to work as a TEAM if u take up a team sport and it can be taken as a profession toooooooooo like JORDAN did!!

Wat else to say - I got the ticket for the finals of "Chennai Open", courtesy - Raja( and I was the Luckiest on earth tat day , simply for 2 reasons I met Leander Paes and I had the privilege to watch Carlos Moya and Ivan Ljubicic(eventual champion) jus one metre away, the latter part was cos of my Gut feeling . "Fortune favours brave" - I was not supposed to enter the court with out Orange card but I went in to the VIP area and then to the playing area, where a volunteer stopped me for the pass, I convinced him after a long chat , who accepted to leave only on my own risk,which I did to enjoy the privilege of taking the photo of the finalist - along with the PRESS people, Iam proud tat I took the right decision "Bravoooo"

U know wat I did for this new year , I went to Mahapalipuram with my pal Raja in Bike covered by breeze and protected by salt. It brought back the moments tat rewinded my life time for about 15 years back, My first ever trip with my family to Madras, now Chennai and to Hyderabad.Tat time we roamed VGP beach and Mahapalipuram, I still remember the glorious days of past when me and my bro' sat on the elephants statue of Mahapalipuram temple and played a "Catch Me If U Can!" a game with the sea water, most of the time we won and sometimes we let sea to win. When the trip got folded I was a man with heavy hearts !!! The photo depicts the scenario prevailed during the New year day among chennaites.Bye for now guys!!

It was 13 dec and a decision that was taken by me in flash thinking, which transformed my evening from the usual interactions with the (my now a days) close friend Computer, to a thrilling , live wire experience for me - CHAMPIONS TROPHY hockey tournament. I went with my colleague and Sports freak Mahesh, to witness an electrifying match b/w IND & AUS. The match was over in the first few minutes of start as AUSSIES stunned the INDIANS by scoring 3 goals with in 10 min of the match. I was thrilled and excited not b'cos of the match situation but the experience of seeing LIVE match for the first time in my life time, It was awesome experience, which is worth the penny, athletic AUSSIES showed their class by mauling clueless INDIA 4 - 1 that evening. It will be etched in my memories for ever.

Rain - It Rain(s) supreme in Chennai .......................... The child in the photo is it praying for the rain to continue or does it pray to god to stop it ONCE 4 the cricket match b/w INDIA and South Africa?Most of them especially the guys and gals who bought the ticket prayed "Rain Rain Go Away" , but Alas it poured heavily....The result "MATCH ABANDONED". Its a very pleasant climate in chennai for the past one month or so........ but all these beatiful feeling is not enjoyable because of the poor drainage system that prevails over the city.
Me had a great experience of cyclone on fine sunday where i got wet completely while driving to the office....lucky enough tat my bike didn't feel the cold or else i wud have been in a pity situation like many "instead of driving the vehicle they wer takin a walk with it". I feel this time the raining in INDIA has sufficed most of their quest .... to be frank it's surplus..............Y iam saying this CHENNAI corporation is willin to open H2O every day...isn't tat a great news........

From the school going kids to the working professionals eagerly await for the weekends.As dawn and dusk pass by to reach friday- Day of happiness for all. For a change ,Today i tried to get in to our Pallavan transport system for commuting to my place from work and the experience is simply different and i enjoyed it ! This being the first bus(public) ride in Chennai after me landing here for MY first job after graduation. So far my colleague and good friend was helping me in coming to office in his bike, and because of his sudden work pressure he couldn't come with me tat day,which let me to the gret experience of travelling in BUS, I boarded the bus near spencers and it was fully crowded ,to be frank there was no space for even keeping ur feet in some place and it was the same til i got down. In the mean time i even got a place to sit and look @ the chennai city in the night time.So many people ......... Very less number of buses.........Routes to reach ur place r crowded........Drive thro chennai around 7-9 pm u will have great experience...............For anyone who wants a LICENSE come and drive in INDIA and get ur license. Most of them will come up with School and college, but most of them will not say their working period as part of the answer, but 4 my TEAM 6(nick name of our team while we were in the training) it might be one of the best moments! TEAM 6 was the only team in the training period with low strength.......tat helped us in creating a great bond among ourselves. To consider the professional side too we had very less confusion while taking decisions.
